Hot again.. I´m in Nasca- Peru. Saw the mysthic lines and figures from a 6 capacity cesna airplaine this morning. It is unbelievable, what somoene, something (depending which theory you support) did. For me it does not metter wheather these is human made, or alien made.. it is still impressive and it is still a huge question mark, why these lines and figures were made here on a desert. Any ideas? Let me know.
I´m heading down slowly getting used to South America, now I see that Argentina and Chile are so close to Europe, or small american towns, depending where you are. Peru is a different story. I felt it once I got to Lima..Not much to say, I´m not a fan of the city, however I liked all the old buidings, what I missed was an atmosphere. All I discovered was chaos and dust.
Nasca is different, at least people smile back and wanna talk with you. It is so much closer to the 3rd world as we see it. No hunger though. Just all the shops, and the ´houses´outside of the centre are so basic.
However people seem to have time for everything.. Small chat, or the longer one on the way to work.
When drinking your cola in a restaurant you can easily spot tourist who just started their travelling, they rush...all the rest locals and those with few weeks with the backpack just walk..simple as that.. When was the last time you saw someone walking in London, NY or Paris on a week day, and I dont mean in the park, just on a street,in the morning?
Photos soon..

What an amazing trip you have had. It was such a great pleasure for me to meet you at the Colca Canyon - and for us both to see the condors! I wish we had had more time to talk, as I'm sure I would have discivered that you were at the Torres del Paine. I was there the previous year and thought it the most wonderful place on earth. Almost mystical. It was a really special days walk to the base of the Towers. I want to go there again :)
I can't wait to see more of your photos!
