At the end of the world..photos here

So I got to Ushuaia at the end.. even the flight was a special experience..when you land in between the mountains and almost on the water (Beagle Channel) you appreciate having a good pilot..Yes, you do.
Sudden drop of temperatures between BA and Ushuaia was not nice, all the rest fantastic. I got on a small boat first afternoon ( with 4 other girls: 2 English, one Canadian and one Danish) to see the wild life around Beagle Channel- sea lions, birds. The truth is, you not only see them, you also smell them , if the wind is Wright (or rather wrong I’d say after experiencing the smell of the nature).
We stopped at one of the island to listen to the story about local people from the past, who looked similar to Eskimos. They were still there at the beginning of the last century, walking in this cold temperature without clothes, covered just with the fat of the sea lions. And they were just fine..Now there are just few of the alive. All because of great ideas of those who came here with Darwin and introduced clothes, to the people who spend most of their time fishing..so eventually they ended up with the cold from being wet most of the time..West is not the best always, mhm?

Well, the people look slightly different at the end of the world; see the photos and you will understand.
Other attractions down there include visiting Tierra del Fuego National Park, absolutely amazing place..huge post glaciers lakes, blue as the ocean lagoon, gigantic forest, funny birds that make the noises like broken tape recorder, wild horses and rabbits, which just stand next to the path you are walking...Smelling the nature here is so much nicer then on the water..
