8.10 FAKE MARADONNA , LA BOCA AND TANGO

We decided to see La Boca with it’s beautiful colourful streets, tango dancers etc. Got there on the bus after school.0,90 pesos ticket, which you buy on the bus, even if you are local, looks like monthly tickets were not introduced here. Whoever one day convinces the local authorities to do so, will make a good business. Why? Listen to this..
One the things that you will not see in other places is queuing for a bus. You pass these loooong queues of people asking yourself what they are waiting for and then you realize they just wait for the bus..amazing…whoever comes last stands at the end and patiently waits. Can U imagine this in London, or anywhere else? I will make a foto and show you how bizarre this looks. Anyway, we got to Boca, far from the centre, area looks poor until you get to this touristic place, with little market place and colourful buildings.. It looks attractive, but to be honest it is done for tourists and it’s hard to feel the city vibe there. Once we entered the area, there is this guy (or gay, I always make a mistake, don’t feel offended if I did it again), who starts asking ‘where are you from’ and is so happy hearing Poland, UK..Then he goes in his sporty cloths ‘Do you know Maradonna, do U want foto with Maradonna’..? He looked a little , maybe 20% like Maradonna, but was definitely making his living based on this 20%. Anyway we did our touristy photos with Tango dancers ‘board’ and seat to study a little.
I started school on Monday, amazingly I can understand a lot when someone speaks slowly, however talking is ‘a real challenge’ for now. So, we seat there in the sun, enjoying as always the day and suddenly we see this lady in dressed like tango dancer, or honestly with slightly less cloths on but full+ make up..so she starts beating the man , seating 3m from us and screaming something..(The man is one of those asking for 5pesos for taking the photo with Maradona board, the one you put your head to pretending you are the person) He tries to calm her down, no luck..so she approaches the policeman standing in his car 50 m away..10 minutes later there are 3 police cars, at least 10 men in uniforms all trying to calm down this lady, who apparently was arguing, from what we understood, that the mean she beaten is taking away her job, as she works as a tango model on the street, asking people for 5 pesos for a foto with her… No comments.. Maybe one… Women also have a latin characters here.
